Welcome to us

Per Brahegymnasiet (PB) is a school that is innovative and forward-thinking, yet also rests on a historical foundation and cherishes its traditions. The school has approximately 1500 students and 150 employees and is beautifully located in the heart of Jönköping. The upper secondary programs we offer are EK, ES, IB, NA, and SA. The school is organized into four principal areas with shared support functions.

At PB, you will become part of the city's best and most engaged faculty, who motivate, inspire, and challenge the students. This creates the conditions for a truly great school, where we build knowledge and experience that students will benefit from for the rest of their lives. Our profile is characterized by creativity and engagement with an international focus.

We now need to strengthen our team - are you the one we are looking for?

Your new job

PB is now seeking an IB Coordinator for our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). As the IB Coordinator, you will have overall responsibility for the quality, structure, and development of the school's IB program. You will be the school's official contact person with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and lead the work to ensure that the program is conducted in accordance with IB's regulations and pedagogical principles.

The role combines pedagogical leadership, quality work, and administration, requiring both structure, relationship-building, and the ability to make clear decisions. Together with the deputy principal, you will lead and coordinate the pedagogical work within the IB program. You will support and work collaboratively with our IB teachers and also be responsible for the introduction of new teachers based on IB's regulations and pedagogical principles. You will also have overall student responsibility within IB, which includes study and career guidance, and course selection in collaboration with the student health team.

Good to know

The assignment as IB Coordinator is a two-year appointment, where you have a permanent position as a teacher as a foundation. The scope of the position and any combination with teaching will be discussed during recruitment. Internal applicants can contact their immediate supervisor if interested in the position.
